Although we've had a
couple fantastic movie license games recently, we
still have a long
way to go before the subgenre can compete with the
rest. If Bad Boys
II does have anything good for it, there is some
visceral fun in
plugging away at bad guys for a while that the game
gets right some
of the time, when the enemy isn't busy ducking behind
objects that
leave his head exposed or magically appearing from an
empty corner of
a room. In the end, the game is destined to fade from
the popular
consciousness at least as quickly as the movie, which is
probably a
good thing for Will Smith and Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett
of the
Tactical Narcotics Team are back and oh so bad. Featuring all
the
fast pace and all-out action of the movie, it's your job to ensure
that
these TNT cops are not DOA! Somewhere on the streets of Miami,
something
is going down which must be stopped. You can play as either
Mike or
Marcus in first or third-person viewpoints, making your way
through
15 stages of fast paced, all-action gameplay, with gameplay
featuring
multiple mission objectives. In addition to a variety of
weapons,
destructible environments, and changing playstyles, the game
features
a Bad Boy rating system, where you are rewarded for your
actions and
achievements. Play the perfect cop or be a Bad Boy. What
are YOU
gonna do?
